The Smoke Shop has closed it’s doors for the last time, it was a great institution while it lasted and I will carry wonderful memories of my times basking in the fragrant haze of pipes and cigars while enjoying the company of a raft of interesting characters. Dave was the ultimate host making everyone feel welcome, even those of us with a leftward lean.

Thanks Dave, it was a great run!

Plans to visit Dale at Methodist

I’m going to be pretending to fish on the Crow Wing River this weekend but I’ll be with you in spirit. Having done some serious hospital time last year, I know it’s great to see a friendly face between all the poking and prodding and crappy food!
